Lets go on vacation is a brain child of mommyholly. I can't wait to see where everyone goes.... But for me - I dream of Destin...The sound of waves.....
If only I could sit in that beach chair...
For the last 2 years my family all 16 -20 of us have gone to Destin, Florida for a week of togetherness, Laying in the sun, playing in the sand, riding bicylces, taking early morning walks on the beach, eating the greatest food around - cooked by us, and watching the waves hit the shore on the prettiest beach in the world! This year we do not get to go with the coming of baby ya-ya and a wedding to plan we are not making our annual trip. So today I am thinking of sitting on that beach listening to the waves coming in while reading a great book. Hope you enjoy and I HIGHLY recommend the trip to anyone.

Vegging in a beach chair is just about my fav pasttime. I love to be near the water.But I'll go in late September or October after the crowds have dissipated.

Molly,Last year we went to Seaside, Florida for Emily White's wedding. Emily is Maria's daughter. It was the most wonderful vacation we have ever had. Mark said it was the most relaxed he had ever been. I totally feel your pain about not being able to return this summer. Your blog is the best thing to being there!!
Destin does have one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere. I'd definitely love to go along with you.
I just love Destin! When we feel like taking a little longer trip, we will go there instead of Orange Beach, Alabama. There is no prettier sand in the world!
