I feel like I have spent October just waiting for my new grandbaby to be born! I have kept my self very busy because I know that Busy hands make the waiting shorter! I have had a fun month so far and the next two weeks will be the best yet. I get to meet my new grandbaby and my niece Sarah,Joe and Baby Jet will be Abilenians once again!! So the population of Abilene will grow by 41/2 the next two weeks all due to my family! HA HA!
Last week we had the 3rd Quaint Marketplace- such a fun fun day -
My Tuesday Night group had a booth filled with the fun things we have been making all summer and fall. We were amazed at how much stuff we had gathered together! What fun we had sharing it with everyone else. Here’s what it all looked like together.
Cute right? I loved shopping at our booth – hehe Can not wait till the next one.
Saturday we headed down the road a bit to the “Petticoats on the Prairie” show. One of the main things I wanted to look at was the trailers from the Sisters on the fly. They did not disappoint. Owning one of these is on my Bucket list! I could just take off on some amazing adventures.
It was a fun Saturday spent with wonderful friends…..
THE joy of my life is living in the same town as my grandchildren and sharing the fun things we can do as a family. Sleep overs, dinners, ball games they mean the world to me. Sunday we went to our local pumpkin patch for some pictures and to let the kids see all the pumpkins. It was a little warm – 90s but we pretended it was a cool fall day! Drew and Callie thought it was fun climbing and walking through all of the pumpkins and when we left we picked tiny pumpkins for each of us and the smallest one of all for the BABY! I love my little punkins!
Well friends as you can see I have had a fun month and all the while waiting on our baby. I know it will come with in the week and I get more excited by the day. I try not to call everyday to see how she is feeling BUT it is so hard to wait for such a special gift.
Hope your fall days are full of love and laughter and lots of Pumpkins!
