I think my love affair with Writing on a chalkboard started at an early age in School. I thought it was so cool that you could draw – write- do math problems- and then with just a swipe of the eraser it was a clean slate! I remember having to clean our boards on Friday – I must have talked too much or something – it was punishment I am sure- But I thought it was FUN – HEHE! WELL lately I can not get enough of the chalk board art. I see it everywhere and love it! I have it all over my house now and have made some fun ,fun things. Here are a few of my favorites I have found on line….
My favorite of all ! It is my life in a nut shell…..
I just love them all and I even found some wonderful tutorials on how to make them easier and with out doing them free hand.
Let me show you what I have created around my little cottage for Christmas this year.
This hangs on my front porch to Welcome all to my Home
The presents are wrapped with brown paper and black to look like a chalkboard-
I found these darling printables on Pinterest and used them around the house – LOVE them!
My mind won’t turn off the ideas that keep coming – all about chalkboards! Hope this gives you some ideas about making your own!

Halloween this year was a little low key since Reese was only 2 days old. That didn’t stop us from doing a little Trick or Treating in the neighborhood and having some fun.
Drew was Jake the never land Pirate and Callie of course was Rapunzel as in -Tangled.
And guess what?! They even got some candy for Reese – so fitting!
This Halloween had no tricks just lots and lots of TREATS!
