Dancing in the snow……

I just need to remember that I do love snow… But this much? I am a Texas girl and LOVE sunshine and heat! But I do have a faithful reminder each morning to make the best of the beauty God has given us this winter. DSC02849

Took a dance around my little cottage this morning and enjoyed the moment!!! DSC02845

Will I ever get to see the roses blooming in my little garden… or use these garden tools? I know-I know -  I am suppose to be dancing- but I think I will go look at some of my favorite garden catalogs and dream of sunny- flower planting days!

Happy Snow Days…….

Your snow photos look familiar - wait - they look like MY house - we've had snow on the ground for nearly 90 days, but then, I live in Montana, so that is expected! If I lived in Texas, as you do, it would be a bit of a surprise. I was just thinking this morning that I will try to thank God even if we get more snow, which is very possible, because this summer we will be glad we got the moisture. The snow has been melting and there are lots of grassy spots showing, which makes me long for spring, and I sometimes make a trip to the garage to peak at my flowerpots and garden tools. Until spring really comes, I will trust in God's sovereignty and enjoy what is left of winter. Thank you for reminding us that He truly has given us beauty in the snow!

Molly, I'm sorry we haven't painted in such a long time. After Christmas, I helped Beth for 2 weeks, then came home just in time for Mike's hip replacement surgery. I'm tired. I thought there would be a break after the wedding but it looks like my mom is going to have surgery on the 15th. I'm learning a lot about myself...none of it is pretty!
